As we prepare for our 5 Day Mindset Challenge Happening Feb 15th, I took a quick survey to assess the biggest mental block many in our mentorship group may have and the most common one was Fear. The majority of people struggle with fear in one shape or form so for the next couple of days I want to tackle this mindset block that often opens doors to the spirit of fear and torment. 

The definition of fear states that it is a belief connected to an emotion that something is dangerous, frightening, or unsafe. 

In the last 10 years of coaching people through fear and rejection, several things come to mind. Here are some initial steps to getting over fear. 

  1. Identify your fear
  2. Sit down and ask yourself where did it come from or when did it start

  6. Ask yourself what is the worst thing that can happen if you face your fear.
  7. Lastly, once you come up with the worst thing ask yourself “so what if that happens.
  8. You can’t avoid the fear you got to look it in the face to begin to overcome it 

Some fears we have our out of our control, thats why we have to learn how to anchor ourself in God because he is the one in control, (I will share tips on that tomorrow)

Most fears have to do with people’s perception of us, those my dear are the ones we can begin to tackle right away, so here is your homework. Take time to define how you see yourself, cause that my friend is the starting point of overcoming fear.
