Prophetic word for 2023
The Lord Spoke to me and said that for many and for us here at Legacy, 2023 is the Year of the Horse Power.
Now Horsepower refers to how much power an engine can produce in a certain amount of time or the rate at which work is done. The more horsepower that your engine has, the faster you will be able to go.
In the British Imperial System, one horsepower equals 33,000 foot-pounds of work per minute—that is, the power necessary to lift a total mass of 33,000 pounds one foot in one minute.- Britannica
This concept was developed by John Watts when he was trying to communicate to the people how much more work his steam engines would be able to do, compared to what was currently available. He used something that was common to them, horses to communicate a new concept. Over time horsepower has become the system in which we rate all engines.
Now, what does this have to do with us? The Lord said that horsepower refers to force, acceleration, momentum, and productivity that we will see in 2023.
2023 Will be full steam ahead; a year of unmatched acceleration, momentum, and productivity.
The Watts’ system of measurement ushered that generation into a new place of innovation, invention, and creativity.
In the same way, in 2023 we will see new inventions, innovations, and creativity from common people that will shift generations.
God is going to release strategies on how to do old things in a new way; this new way will multiply output and productivity.
I see strategies on how to run a home and family.
I see strategies at work.
Strategies to minimize burnout and have more output.
You will know it is God’s strategy by the ease and the speed things are going to be accomplished. We are going into a season that will cause our heads to rattle in terms of how:
1. Easily things come
2. Quickly things come
3. Things change
4. Suddenly we will find ourselves in new places
In 2023 we will catch up on lost time, especially the time we lost during the pandemic of 2020.
In 2023 we will develop new vocabulary.
John Watts developed a new vocabulary, horsepower; it had never been used in the way we know it now.
There is a new language coming to explain and bring clarity to some of the experiences you may have had.
There are also new languages coming, and new words, we will see this publicly but also personally.
Many will be challenged to learn new languages, from spoken languages to computer languages. To heavenly languages.
We will see many being filled with the Holy Spirit. In this ministry and globally there will be movements and moves of God in which many will be speaking new languages.
God will give you language for your life, what you have been through and where you are trying to go.
It will be easier to explain who you are and what you do because He is giving you the tongue of the learned in this year.
Promotions will flock to believers and they will have the words to articulate what they are doing.
Many have gotten by with just doing, but this is a teaching season, this is a season to transfer information in families from one generation to the next. There will also be a transfer of mantles.
NEW STEAM TO GO FORWARD
Just as John Watts developed horsepower for his steam engines, the Lord is releasing new steam in you.
We have briefly talked about trains, they represent the moves of God, something moving with great force and power, often great moves of the Holy Spirit.
I decree and declare This Church will move like a train and the body of Christ will move with great power.
Trains carry people, but they also carry cargo. We are in the midst of an industrial bomb, we are entering a season in which getting around will become easier.
But also getting what we need will become easier, there are new gifts coming, new ideas, new people, new resources to stock up churches and to stock up your life.
CROSS MOVEMENT
I saw something like ants working on a path going in many directions. People will move between states, nations,and occupations with fluidity and ease.
We are in the midst of the sun rising on a new day, how you handled the last 3 years will speak into your next 4 years.
We must live soberly, with an open mind knowing what God has called us to do in this hour while it is the day.
For those not retired yet, this is the season to build and maximize your life’s potential.
Those retired and in their golden years you will have the steam to finish well, it is a season of ministry, imparting, and teaching the next generation.
The Lord is laying the tracks- Just as a train with great horsepower moves on tracks, the lord says he is laying the tracks down, and your job is to walk in the path. Isaiah 30:21
21 And whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: “This is the way. Walk in it.”
He will be the force behind your force.
We will see the moves of the Holy Spirit like we have not seen in the west, forceful moves that command the eyes of the nations. God will release his power and his force to those who are yielded to him!
FINALLY……
This is an Amos 9:13-14 Year!!
13“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes, the sower of seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, with which all the hills will flow. 14 I will restore My people Israel from captivity; they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.…
What could this mean?
The Message translation says it like this:
Amos 9:13-15
The Message
13-15 “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fasts on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look blessings! Blessings like wine pour off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:
“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities.
They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine.
They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.
And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land.
They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”
God, your God, says so.
This is the year when those behind will catch up
This is the year when nations that are developing will develop
This is when what was owed is released
This is the year when broken cities are restored- we will see more opportunities, and money released for non-profit organizations to do the work of restoring cities
This is the year when the barren woman conceives
I do not know how else to explain it, except hold on tight
Now I must warn you when we are in a sudden move of God certain things happen that you must be aware of.
It destroys your theology, how you think it should be done, or how you think God should have done it, won’t matter.
It makes you uncomfortable, much will be required in short periods of time, but when you say yes to God you will see the fruit. Any hesitations in this season will cause you to miss opportunities.
Not everyone will like it, the sudden horsepower moves will cause others to question your decisions and the direction you may choose to take.
Exercise and wellness will be a priority, this season will feel tiring emotionally and physically sometimes, if a reaper overtakes the sower, he is walking faster than the sower.
Don’t confuse hard work with God not being there.
This is the year we overtake and are overtaken.
We will see rapid production of inventions, ideas, and new machinery in the next 4 years.
We will see hyper cross-pollination of cultures and streams. Collaboration and partnership will make the train go faster.
This speeding up will be seen in every industry, from weather patterns to developments. The natural world will try to catch up and they will try to slow things down with new inventions around anti-aging etc, but the time can not be stopped.
As the return of christ nears everything must accelerate, the work of the ministry, salvation, healing, and deliverances
We will build cities and regions.
We will see unusual extraordinary minds. In their late teens and early 20’s emerging from all over but specifically the continents of Africa and South America
God’s eye is on South America in this season; he wants to break strongholds of cartels, drugs and demonic encroachment that has hindered those nations from going forward.
This is the year where we overtake and are overtaken!!
Joel 2
An Army of Locusts
1 Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand—
2 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come.
3 Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes. Before them the land is like the garden of Eden, behind them, a desert waste— nothing escapes them.
4 They have the appearance of horses; they gallop along like cavalry.
5 With a noise like that of chariots they leap over the mountaintops, like a crackling fire consuming stubble, like a mighty army drawn up for battle.
6 At the sight of them, nations are in anguish; every face turns pale.
7 They charge like warriors; they scale walls like soldiers. They all march in line, not swerving from their course.
8 They do not jostle each other; each marches straight ahead. They plunge through defenses without breaking ranks.
9 They rush upon the city; they run along the wall. They climb into the houses; like thieves, they enter through the windows.
10 Before them the earth shakes, the heavens tremble, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine.
11 The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number, and mighty is the army that obeys his command. The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?
